It repels mosquitoes (European and tropical), ticks, botflies and flies, including including common horse flies, also known as “Notch-horned Cleg Flies”. Originally created by United States chemists for the needs of the army, and appreciated for its efficiency, it quickly entered mass production.

DEET STRONG is the strongest repellent in the MUGGA series. The spray is recommended for people especially vulnerable to insect attacks: travellers, anglers, armed forces and foresters. It provides protection for about 9 hours in a moderate climate and approximately 4 - 6 hours in a tropical climate.

It contains the DEET compound, created by the United States chemists for the needs of the army fighting in wet forests and other areas where insects are present (mosquitoes, gnats and others). Deet does not kill insects but only repels them! When the mosquito is close to the skin, DEET affects its nervous system, which loses coordination. Deet reduces the ability of insects and arachnids to detect carbon dioxide and other human metabolism products, that are its method to locate a victim. A properly selected and tested mix of DEET, plant oils and extracts discourages insects and arachnids to land on the surface of the skin.

Directions for use 

Using the applicator from a distance of about 20 cm, spray a small amount of Mugga on the exposed parts of the body and clothing. Avoid application of Mugga on plastic surfaces (watch belts, sunglasses) and synthetic fabrics. Avoid application of Mugga in the areas around the eyes, nose and mouth. Mugga Strong Spray does not irritate the skin and does not cause dirt, however it should not be applied on cuts, wounds and irritated skin. To use it on the face, first apply the product on your hands and then spread it on the face skin. Before using Mugga spray against ticks and mosquitoes you should read the characteristics of the product on the label of the packaging. Not suitable for children under 18 years of age. The effectiveness of the product has been confirmed both in the laboratory and in the field, studied in about 2,500 mosquito species and approx. 850 tick species. The deterrent contains DEET (N, N-diethyl-m-toluamide) - a scientifically proven substance that acts as an insect repellent, approved for general use.
