Test for intestinal parasites - mail-order
The examination includes:
- Evaluation of the macroscopic and microscopic appearance of the stool sample.
- Detection of adult forms, eggs, cysts, and fragments of parasites.
Indications for Examination:
- Abdominal discomfort
- Anal itching
- Skin rashes

Instructions
- To examine stool for intestinal parasites, samples should be taken from several places, from TWO CONSECUTIVE bowel movements, i.e., from two days, each into a separate container.
- Before submitting stool for examination, the bladder should be completely emptied. Stool should not come into contact with water, urine, or cleaning agents (detergents).
- Remove plastic containers with spatulas inside from the container.
- Using the plastic spatula, collect samples from several places of the passed stool. The container should be filled no more than half full.
- The container filled with the stool sample should be tightly closed. Store at room temperature until transportation.
- In order to indicate which examination should be performed from a given sample, it is necessary to fill in the attached referral.
- All samples with collected material should be packed into a box, remembering to fill out the REFERRAL, and sent to the laboratory address:

The examination cannot be performed if taking: antibiotics, antifungal drugs, antipyretics.
The examination can be performed at least 2 weeks after the end of treatment.</p
