Instructions

  1. To examine stool for intestinal parasites, samples should be taken from several places, from TWO CONSECUTIVE bowel movements, i.e., from two days, each into a separate container.
  2. Before submitting stool for examination, the bladder should be completely emptied. Stool should not come into contact with water, urine, or cleaning agents (detergents).
  3. Remove plastic containers with spatulas inside from the container.
  4. Using the plastic spatula, collect samples from several places of the passed stool. The container should be filled no more than half full.
  5. The container filled with the stool sample should be tightly closed. Store at room temperature until transportation.
  6. In order to indicate which examination should be performed from a given sample, it is necessary to fill in the attached referral.
  7. All samples with collected material should be packed into a box, remembering to fill out the REFERRAL, and sent to the laboratory address:

The examination cannot be performed if taking: antibiotics, antifungal drugs, antipyretics.

The examination can be performed at least 2 weeks after the end of treatment.</p
